Based in the picturesque Ribble Valley half way between Whalley and Clitheroe, STITCH IT is a small family run company with over 30 years experience in the clothing, embroidery print and design industry.

Mark is the driving force and creative talent of the team. He has passion, flair and enthusiasm, undertaking all the design, embroidery and print work. With over 25 years of knowledge and skill as a digitizer, and a former approved Wilcom Software trainer ( even teaching his skills in Kenya ) he knows how to turn any design into an embroidery, from basic text to full banner designs of over 300,000 stitches. Mark is also experienced in garment printing and design origination, using sublimation, screen print, vinyl, and digital printing methods.
“ My Grandad was my inspiration. He used to repair industrial sewing machines and first got me interested in the textile industry. A thirst for knowledge and learning new skills has got me where I am today. I’m sure my grandad would be proud”
Working away quietly in the background, looking after the everyday running of the business. Always there for help, support and cups of coffee. Her creative artistic flair comes from her 15 years as a florist. She has an eye for detail, always looking for different ideas and has a passion for excellent customer service.
Nicola is our newest member of staff and is looking after our social media side of the business and looking after new and existing customers enquires and accounts. She’s quite a loud character so has given Mark many headaches already! She’s new to the trade as she has previously worked in the motor trade for 23 years and is also a professional photographer.
Sam describes herself as anti-social and prefers her cat to people, so the embroidery room suits her down to the ground! She has been sewing and hand embroidering since she was 4. She is also a qualified wig maker!
